The Virginia Serious Games Institute and The Computer Game Design Program at George Mason have partnered up to create a pipeline of talent for all resident companies. The VSGI is providing internship opportunities for students every semester. Mason students interested in pursuing an internship at the VSGI need to secure an internship supervisor (company head or company POC) and download the CGD Internship Guidebook here: Internship Guide
If you are a high school or college student interested in an internship at the VSGI, send your resume to James Casey for available projects and sim and game development team openings. Most internships are paid, and require 180-220 hours over a semester or summer session.
Lastly, if you’re a company or agency searching for amazing talented and skilled interns for an opening related to SimModGame, contact Scott Martin and they will be happy to broadcast the opportunity to the Computer Game Design Program students.
